The WooCommerce Product Brands extension permits you to create a brand for your Woo shop. So if you want to be creative, you can use your creativity in different ways depending on your business type. This may include your portfolio, your client list and also your projects.

  • Product Brands can be listed, indexed on a page using A-Z shortcode
  • Product Brands can be shown as thumbnails with the help of a shortcode
  • Product Brands can be displayed on the sidebar with the help of shortcode

It’s a great plugin which allows you to list your brands on a web page and makes brand searching a piece of cake.

Creating Brands in Product Brands for WooCommerce

To add a brand, you need to go to Products >> Product Brands. Under the tab, you will see “Add New Product Brand”. Here you can add your brands; and once you are done, the brand will be listed in the list right beside it. This works the same as adding product attributes, categories or tags.

You can add the brand name, slug, description and assign a brand logo. Also, you can edit or delete any of your previous brands added.

Below is all your listed brands on the list.

Assign Brand to Product

To assign a brand to your product, you need to go to Products >> Add Products, or edit an existing product. Under the product add/edit screen, you will see the Product Brand tab on the left side of your page.

After clicking the publish button you will see the result on your WooCommerce web store. The image below represents how your WooCommerce online store will look like with the featured brand.

Final Words

Including products under certain brands and those brands in the navigation can enhance the user experience of a customer on your site. If you have a WooCommerce store that offers multiple brands,  then this strategy will be useful.

And that’s not all if you want your WooCommerce store to stand alone in the market, here is a list of my top favorite WooCommerce Plugins of 2016.

  1. Hi,
I have two different brands of products in the website. The category and single product pages for these two brands need to be different as far as the look-and-fell, fonts and colors are concerned. Is this possible with this plugin?
    Thanks in advance,
