Using the Social Metrics Plugin

View how many times your posts have been shared: After you install the Social metrics plugin, a menu appears in your WordPress Dashboard called Social Metrics. Selecting the menu displays a list of your WordPress posts or pages and shows you how many times it has been shared across Twitter, Facebook, Google +1, StumbleUpon, Digg and LinkedIn, in a tabular format.

Share your posts right from the dashboard: The best thing about using this plugin is that, if you ever forget to share your updates on any of the social networking sites, all you have to do is click on the share button and your post automatically gets shared on the social platforms. This is such a time saver as you don’t have to leave your dashboard and go to these social networking sites.

Filter posts on category and date: Secondly, you can filter whichever Posts/Pages you want by selecting the Category. Not just that you can also filter them by Date.

Additional Settings: There are very minimal settings for this plugin. You can set the maximum number of posts to be displayed at a time, under Settings->Choose Display Options->Number of Posts to Display at a time. If no value is specified, default value 15 will be used.
