12minprep is a LearnDash-based exam prep platform for CCAT and similar competitive exams. The buying journey is intentionally simple—users land on the course they need and move straight to checkout (no browsing-heavy shop flow).
Most visitors come with high intent, make a decision quickly, and often visit only once. That makes clarity, trust, and a smooth first experience the difference between an order and a drop-off.
To support this, we built custom LearnDash workflows that simplified course selection, pricing clarity, and checkout confidence for first-time learners.
What they needed was clear:
“A fast, consistent, confidence-building course buying experience that works flawlessly for first-time visitors on any device.”
“This one was all about first impressions. We made the buying journey feel simple and obvious, kept the experience consistent on every device, and kept improving it based on real user behavior. The result was a smoother checkout and fewer drop-offs.”

The Challenge
Business-level friction that could cost orders and trust.
We focused on making the buying journey feel simple, consistent, and confidence-building—then kept improving it steadily.
1
We fixed it by continuously improving how users move from course page → cart → checkout with fewer distractions and clearer steps.
So now buyers can act fast, without second-guessing where to click next.
2
We fixed it by regularly checking the key pages across different screen sizes and browsers and smoothing out small inconsistencies.
So now the site feels reliable whether someone is on mobile, desktop, iPhone, Android, or any major browser.
3
We fixed it by ensuring changes reflected correctly during review cycles so decisions didn’t get stuck in “is this updated yet?” moments.
So now approvals became faster and iteration stayed on track.
4
We fixed it by reviewing user behavior and performance patterns to decide which optimizations would actually move conversions.
So now improvements stayed focused on what impacts orders, not cosmetic changes.
Result
The platform became more conversion-ready for first-time visitors and more stable to manage over time.
Impact
And when we looked at the data, the improvements were clear.
Increase in course purchase
Fewer user-reported issues
Reduction in checkout drop-offs
