An education institute led by Luca Mosca, providing English learning courses to students in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Peru, and the United States. Like schools everywhere, COVID-19 sent them online; unlike most, their classrooms already spanned countries. They picked LearnDash as their LMS and needed its modules integrated so the whole system performed at its best.

Juggling time zones, batch limits, and instructor workflows meant we weren’t just tweaking LearnDash. We were basically teaching it new tricks. The CSV automation pieces were especially fun to build, and seeing everything click together smoothly felt great.
What time is class when the classroom spans four countries?
Students picked courses by country, across clashing time zones. Every booking had to make sense.
Monthly schedules were tricky to manage when a convenient hour in Lima confused a learner in Guatemala City. Batches capped at 11 students needed enrollment to close itself, and heavy server usage was slowing pages for everyone.

The real question
Every piece worked against another: country-based selection multiplied time zones, small batches demanded strict limits, and the server was already straining. Could one LearnDash setup stay stable, efficient, and friendly through all of it?

The course purchase flow had to become simpler and more intuitive for students joining from different countries.

The enrollment process itself was simplified into a clear, intuitive path that minimizes errors for students and instructors alike.

Batches that close at 11, completions in one upload.
LearnDash Groups was customized to restrict enrollments the moment a batch reaches its 11-student limit, protecting class quality. Group expiry dates now generate from uploaded CSV data for automated access control, and an enhanced Mark Course Complete function lets instructors complete multiple learners’ courses through one CSV upload.
