Let learners quickly take notes while they learn from a Course Unit. Notes can be saved for a Course Unit and can be resumed and edited at will.
Quick Access Widget
Notes can be taken by simply clicking on an expandable Notes widget, available on every Course Unit page. Drag and position this widget anywhere on the screen.
Resizable WYSIWYG Editor
Notes are created using a simple and familiar WYSIWYG editor that pops open upon clicking the notes widget. This editor can be resized and positioned as per learner preferences.
Notes that are saved by a learner as 'Public' can be viewed by all the students enrolled in a course as a read-only note.
Notes that are saved by a learner as 'Private' can be viewed and edited only by the author of the Note.
Save & Resume
Notes authored by a learner can be saved into the database. Learner can resume taking notes for a Course Unit from the point he last saved his progress.
Export & Print
Saved Notes can be exported as a *.docx file and can be opened with all compatible word editor softwares. Notes can also be printed easily with a simple click.
All the Notes created can be viewed in the form of neat tables on two separate pages, My Notes and Public Notes, which are automatically created upon activation of plugin.
The tabular list found on My Notes and Public Notes Pages can be placed on any page of your choice with the help of a simple shortcode.

I installed WP Courseware Notes and it wont work. Help.WP Courseware Notes only works with WP Courseware 4.0.4 and higher versions. Upon Installation, you would need to enter a valid license key to get the plugin working. If this does not help, please contact us for further support
Can I enable/disable Note-taking for specific Courses?Yes. You can easily enable/disable note taking for a course by navigating to Course Settings>General Course Details
Can I share the notes with other users?Yes. Just remember to save the notes as Public and it can be accessed by all other users enrolled in a course.
Will other users be able to edit/delete the public notes created by me?No. Notes that are saved as u2018Publicu2019 can only be accessed in read-only mode and cannot be deleted by other users.
Is WP Courseware Notes multisite compatible?No. As of the current version, WP Courseware Notes is not multisite compatible. An update with multisite compatibility is in the works.
Will the exported .docx file work with all word processors?The imported .docx file will work with all word processors capable of handling .docx files. A known issue is the imported file not working with Pages for Mac, in which case you can use any other Word Editor like MSWord, LibreOffice or even Google docs.
