Frequently Asked Questions

Is there any limit on the number of customer-price pairs I can add?

No, there is no such limit. You can add any number of customer-price pairs as needed.

Does the plugin work with all product types?

Currently, the plugin works with the WooCommerce Simple Product and Variable Product types.

What kind of customer does the plugin support?

You can add a price for any customer with an account on your website.

Can customers see the original price of the product, even if a special price has been set for them?

Only if the customer is not logged in, they will be able to see the default price of the product.

I have activated the plugin, but cannot see the price option. What do I do?

Make sure you have entered your purchased license key for the product, in the Plugins > CSP License page. Upon successful activation, you will be able to add a price for a customer, on a per product basis.

What happens if a user belongs to a group as well as a role to which custom prices have been applied?

The plugin follows the following order of priority Customer Based Price, User Role Based Price, Group Based Price, Regular Price with customer based price getting the highest priority. So if a user belongs to a group as well as a role to which custom prices have been applied then the user can purchase the product at the price set for the user role assigned to him.

What happens if I add the same customer more than once?

If you add the same customer more than once, the initial price set for the customer (in the customer-price list), will be applied. For example, if product XYZ is set at $25 for Tom, and then Tom and $35 is added again, the product XYZ for Tom will be $25.

A user has been added to two groups that have custom prices assigned. Which rate will be applicable to the user?

If a customer belongs to multiple groups (or roles), the least price set for the group (or role) will be applied.

Great for unique pricing for members!
A great plugin for setting up discounted pricing across a group of members. I still need some help importing members into the plugin. Would be great if we could upload csv's instead of txt.

Customer Specific Pricing
In response to your solicitation for customer feedback. My Customer Specific Pricing works as expected. It is, however a bit hard to use as there is no visual showing the all price types and respective prices for that item. I would like to see a panel of all type and all prices at once rather than have a pull-down of type then the price that is preloaded appears (or the empty box). Second, when reviewing a customer profile, it should show what type of customer that is. Finally, when logged in as admin (or user with admin priveledges) the admin should be able to see the item description and all the other stuff a customer would see, and also see ALL of the prices available for that product
