The Admin has the option to set the default License Purchase Type as Individual or Group.
Individual purchases are regular license purchases without any group registration options applied.
Group purchases are the one’s which would be treated as group purchases where all group registration features will be applied.
Users can change it at the front end if required, but the default setting will be preselected when the options are displayed at the front-end.
