Update: Product Enquiry Pro Just Got Better ‘Multi’-folds

Listen to this article

PEP LogoProduct Enquiry Pro- the ultimate inquiry plugin for WooCommerce and our flagship plugin- has just gotten better!! The latest version is now equipped with a spanking new multiple product enquiry functionality. 😀

The Product Enquiry Pro plugin for WooCommerce is WisdmLabs’ first ever premium plugin. So, although we can’t be biased towards any particular plugin, PEP holds a special place in all our hearts.

When we first launched PEP, the functionality we coded into the plugin, was based on our research on ideal WooCommerce inquiry plugins. Today, we base our updates on feedback from valued clients, like you.

Version 2.0.0 brought with it the customizable enquiry form option, one of the most requested features for PEP; and updated PEP’s status from one of the best, to the ultimate inquiry plugin for WooCommerce. Version 3.0.0 just reinforces this thought, by adding the multiple products inquiry functionality.

Now, your WooCommerce store visitors and potential customers can send you a single inquiry email regarding multiple products.

Multiple Product Enquiry Functionality: The Genesis

Our vision with PEP was that WooCommerce store owners would use it to provide their customers a quick inquiry option; making it convenient for your customers to get in touch with you.

And we strive to work towards that vision.

And while PEP makes it simple for customers to ask about a single product, an inquiry email has to be sent for every product a customer is interested in. This could result in multiple emails that you, as the store owner, would have to track and reply to.

“If you Build a Path of least resistance, Leads will come”

Multiple inquiry seemed to be a functionality we needed to build. It was the logical way forward.

A while ago, we had worked on a project which involved building a multi product cart. And, we had considered building a different product for the same.

But as it turned out, it wasn’t meant to be.

As we planned the features, we realized that a multiple product enquiry plugin would need to have the same features as PEP. Hence, a decision was made to add this feature as an update to PEP.

And that brings us to today!

So, has the multiple product enquiry option replaced the single enquiry option?

Absolutely not! The single product inquiry option will still remain. Multi-product inquiry is just a bonus 😀

But wait!! The changes don’t end there!

What’s even better, is that you can reply to these inquiries right from the admin panel. You heard us right!

Product Enquiry Pro for WooCommerce always had an option to view inquiry details. But every time a WooCommerce store i.e., you had reply to an inquiry, the only option you had was via email. We’ve just eliminated that tedious process of having to navigate to your mailbox to reply to customer inquiries.

With the quick reply option, right in the admin panel, you can reply right from the enquiry details section.

But, we’ve not gotten rid of the emails just yet. Follow-up questions have to be addressed via email. Emails are also the only option individual product owners have, when they have to reply to inquiries.

[su_note note_color=”#ffffba”]MAJOR UPDATE – PEP Version 3.0.0 includes a change in the database architecture of PEP. When you update to the this version, previously made inquiries might not be listed under ‘Enquiry Details’. To see previously made inquiries, you’ll have to use the ‘Migrate Enquiries’ option to sync previous inquiries into the new tables. Please refer to our user guide for further details.[/su_note]

    1. Hello – is it possible to customise the Enquiry Details form ie remove the quantity/sku/price/total price details? Many thanks, JC

  1. Hi. I have a website that needs a quote function urgently. We sell items that have 2 to 5 variations of category, size, material and colour. We also want to have a static @Quote me’ page where a quote can be done without coming from a product page. This would use drop downs to select the variations. Is this possible please?

    1. Hi Martin,

All your variations will be supported by the plugin. The plugin doesn’t have a static @Quote me page at the moment but adding that should be possible with a customization.

You can take a look at the demo here: https://quoteup.wisdmlabs.com/

If you need additional features on top of this, please feel free to send a few details to [email protected].

      Thanks 🙂
