Plugins are tools to extend the functionality of WordPress. WordPress, as a system is modular having plug-n-play architecture. The core codebase exports a comprehensive plugin application programming interface (Plugin API), using which new features and services can be added and seamlessly integrated within your WordPress installation via hooks, actions and filters.

The increasingly strong developer community of WordPress has created thousands of plugins till date and scores of new plugins get added on an on-going basis. Even we have been contributing plugins to extend WordPress functionality and have till date launched some cool and popular plugins such as –

WP Web Scraper (4000+ downloads): An easy to implement professional web scraper for WordPress. This can be used to display realtime data from any websites directly into your posts, pages or sidebar.

The latest proposed addition to our plugin contribution will be External Related Content plugin, which aggregates external content through extremely flexible options that lets you pull-in contextually relevant content from various popular sources such as Search (Google and Yahoo), News, Images, Twitter etc.
